Kathmandu recorded 1,464 cases, Lalitpur reported 351 cases whereas 232 new cases were reported from Bhaktapur.<br><br>There are 54 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.<br><br>Likewise, 773 people recovered in the last 24 hours, taking total recoveries to 279,279.<br><br>A total of 14,834 samples have been tested up today with 244,5968 samples being in the last 24 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>79 fatalities in five days<br><\/strong>Nepal recorded 79 deaths in the last five days. The death toll stands at 3,211 as of Wednesday afternoon after 17 fatalities recorded in the last 24 hours.<br><br><strong>April 24<\/strong><br>On April 24, of the 7,525 PCR and 1,143 antigen tests 2,619 tested positive and 14 people died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 25<br><\/strong>On the following day, Nepal recorded the highest number of positive cases after the government lifted all the restrictions. A total of 3,122 new cases were added to the tally after 9,292 PCR and 786 antigen tests. Health Ministry said that 15,681 samples were tested during the period.
