{"id":1730,"date":"2021-04-29T14:12:54","date_gmt":"2021-04-29T08:27:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/?p=1730"},"modified":"2021-04-29T14:12:56","modified_gmt":"2021-04-29T08:27:56","slug":"361-vehicles-impounded-for-defying-prohibitory-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/2021\/04\/29\/361-vehicles-impounded-for-defying-prohibitory-order\/","title":{"rendered":"361 vehicles impounded for defying prohibitory order"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Kathmandu: A total of 1,417 people have been so far kept in holding zones for breaching prohibitory order enforced in Kathmandu Valley to stem Covid-19 spread.<br><br>Spokesperson at the Metropolitan Police Office, Rani Pokhari SP Sushil Singh Rathore said that 361 vehicles \u2014 32 two-wheelers and 41 four-wheelers\u2014were impounded for defying prohibitory orders.<br><br>A total of 3,200 police personnel have been deployed to enforce the order.<br><br>The prohibitory order is implemented as per the decision taken by the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur on April 26.<br><br>With the enforcement of the decision, all services and public transportation except for essential services have come to a halt.
