{"id":2009,"date":"2021-05-01T08:57:38","date_gmt":"2021-05-01T03:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/?p=2009"},"modified":"2021-05-01T08:57:40","modified_gmt":"2021-05-01T03:12:40","slug":"kist-medical-college-interns-refuse-to-work-at-covid-19-ward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/2021\/05\/01\/kist-medical-college-interns-refuse-to-work-at-covid-19-ward\/","title":{"rendered":"KIST Medical College interns refuse to work at Covid-19 ward"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu<\/strong>: Fresh MBBS graduates of KIST Medical College and Teaching Hospital, posted to the Covid-19 wards, have decided not to perform duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, they are willing to continue their posting in other wards as per the schedule set by the hospital administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Writing a letter to the hospital administration, they said that there are several reasons behind refusing to continue working at Covid-19 wards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cWe would like to inform hospital administration that we have been facing a lot of mental disturbances,\u201d they said in the letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur families are pressurizing us not to continue working at the Covid-19 ward as we won\u2019t be able to manage treatment if we get infected.
