Consequently, I had to get my sick relative to undergo the CT scan outside,&#8221; he shared the plight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces refer patients for the treatment at the Bheri Hospital located in Banke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been nearly a month the CT scan stopped functioning at the hospital. However, Hospital Superintendent Dr Prakash Thapa informed that they were working actively to smoothen the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Thapa also briefed Health Secretary Dr Roshan Pokharel about the problems and demanded new medical equipment. Secretary Dr Pokharel is currently in a visit to Nepalgunj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Secretary Dr Pokhrel responded that there was no possibility of purchasing new CT scan machine for now.
