Kathmandu<\/strong>: Linkin Park’s song “In the End<\/a>” has become the first nu-metal song to cross one billion streams on Spotify, as noted by the Chart Data<\/a> Twitter account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song, first released in 2000 as part of Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory debut, crossed one billion views on YouTube in July last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only other rock songs to meet the same level of success were Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain,” The Cranberries’ “Zombie,” Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
