{"id":9998,"date":"2021-07-15T15:26:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-15T09:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/?p=9998"},"modified":"2021-07-15T15:26:07","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T09:41:07","slug":"nepals-national-anthem-gets-a-hebrew-version","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/2021\/07\/15\/nepals-national-anthem-gets-a-hebrew-version\/","title":{"rendered":"Nepal\u2019s national anthem gets a Hebrew version"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu<\/strong>: Nepal&#8217;s national anthem, <em>Sayaun Thunga Phoolka Hami<\/em>, has been translated into Hebrew, Israel&#8217;s national language.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The anthem was<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/IsraelinNepal\/posts\/4726708154012336\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> translated<\/a> into Hebrew by Ambassador of Israel to Nepal Hanan Goder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizing a small ceremony on Wednesday at the Embassy&#8217;s premises in Lazimpat,&nbsp; Ambassador Goder gifted the translated version of the national anthem to Byakul Maila, the original lyricist of the national anthem.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"509\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/214827791_1419285821775889_8962774119187672244_n.png?resize=720%2C509&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10001\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/214827791_1419285821775889_8962774119187672244_n.png?resize=768%2C543&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/214827791_1419285821775889_8962774119187672244_n.png?resize=1536%2C1086&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/214827791_1419285821775889_8962774119187672244_n.png?w=1754&amp;ssl=1 1754w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nepallivetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/214827791_1419285821775889_8962774119187672244_n.png?w=1440&amp;ssl=1 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jayaraj Acharya, former Ambassador of Nepal to the UN, was also present during the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The anthem was adopted in 2007 after the abolishment of monarchy in the country.
